What does each casino card show?
Each card is a short summary of a full review. Here is what each part means.
On the card | What it means |
|---|---|
Rating, as a percentage | How the casino compares with the other casinos in our database, calculated from its facts |
The rank, from #1 to #3 | The top three places in the full list |
Welcome Bonus | The sign-up offer as the casino states it |
Wagering, such as x35 | How many times you must bet the bonus, or the bonus plus your deposit, before you can withdraw it |
Read Casino Review | The licence, the company behind the casino, payment methods, limits and restricted countries |
Play Now | Opens the casino's own website in a new tab |
The full list is ordered by Rating, highest first. Each review shows the date it was last updated.
How is the Rating calculated?
The Rating is a percentage calculated from each casino's facts in five categories: bonuses, payments, games, licence and trust, and reach. It shows how the casino compares with the other casinos in our database, and nobody sets it by hand.
We have not yet made real-money deposits or withdrawals at these casinos. Reviews that include one will say so.
When two Ratings are close, compare the category ratings, the wagering and the withdrawal limits in their reviews. How We Rate Casinos explains the facts in each category.
Which licences do these casinos hold?
Every review names the casino's licence. Most casinos in this list are licensed in Anjouan. Others hold licences from Tobique, Curaçao or Malta, and three list a Philippine licence from PAGCOR.
You can check a licence on the regulator's own website:
- Anjouan: search by licence number, company name or domain on Anjouan Gaming's verification page.
- Tobique: the Tobique Gaming Commission's list of licence holders shows each company's licence type and expiry date.
- Curaçao: the Curaçao Gaming Authority publishes its licence register as downloadable lists.
- Malta: the Malta Gaming Authority has a searchable licensee register.
Most licensed casinos also show a licence seal in their footer. Click it. It should open a page on the regulator's website with the licence holder and the licence number. If it opens nothing, or a page on the casino's own domain, look the casino up in the register yourself.
What should you check before you sign up?
The headline bonus is the least useful number on a card. These four checks take a few minutes in the review and tell you more.
- The wagering, and what it applies to. x35 on a €100 bonus means €3,500 in bets before you can withdraw the bonus. x6 on a €100 deposit plus a €100 bonus means €1,200.
- The withdrawal limit. Sportuna caps withdrawals at €500 a day and €7,000 a month, while 24Casino lists €50,000 a week. At €7,000 a month, a €50,000 win takes eight months to withdraw in full.
- The restricted countries. Each review lists the countries a casino does not accept. Check yours before you deposit, not after.
- The licence, on the regulator's register above.
The payout times in our reviews are the times the casinos state. Set a budget before you play and stop when it is spent. Gambling is entertainment with a built-in house edge, not a way to make money.
Looking for a narrower list?
This page lists every casino we have reviewed that is still trading. These pages cut the same reviews down by what you play or how you pay:
- Crypto casinos that take deposits in cryptocurrency.
- New casinos, most recently added first.
- Live casinos with games run by a real dealer on a video stream.
- Casinos with a sportsbook, for sports betting and casino games on one account.
- Casino bonuses, the current offers from the casinos we review.
Online Casinos: Frequently Asked Questions
Not necessarily. The Rating compares facts such as the licence, payments and bonus terms with other casinos. It is not a test result or a guarantee.
Check the licence and the withdrawal limit in the review, then read the casino's own terms before you deposit.
Not yet. We have not yet made real-money deposits or withdrawals at these casinos. Reviews that include one will say so.
It depends on the casino and on where you live. Each review lists the countries a casino does not accept.
Online gambling laws also differ from country to country, and some countries license online casinos themselves. Check both before you sign up.
It leaves this list and every other list on the site. Its review stays up and says that the casino has closed.
A bigger bonus usually comes with heavier conditions. x50 wagering on €2,000 of bonus money means €100,000 in bets, while x6 on a €100 deposit plus a €100 bonus means €1,200.
The withdrawal limit also decides how fast you can take out what you win, so check it before you choose on the bonus.
