What an affiliate link is, where you'll find them on our site, and what they mean for you.

Casino Adventurer reviews and compares online casinos for readers in many countries. Some of the links on our site are affiliate links. This page explains what that means, where you'll find them and what they change for you.

How affiliate links work

Some casinos run an affiliate programme. If you follow one of our links to such a casino and then sign up or deposit, the casino may pay us a commission.

The casino pays that commission, not you. It costs you nothing extra and doesn't come out of your deposit, your bonus or your winnings.

Commissions help pay for the site and keep everything on it free to read.

Which links are affiliate links

Our buttons that take you to a casino, such as Play Now, Visit Casino, Claim Bonus and Play For Real, and the casino's website link in each review, pass through an address on our site that starts with casinoadventurer.com/go/. For some casinos that address forwards you to an affiliate link. For the others it takes you straight to the casino's own website. Treat any link to a casino as one that may earn us a commission.

Once you reach the casino, the casino or its affiliate programme may store a cookie in your browser to record that you came from us. That cookie is theirs and falls under their privacy policy. The cookies our own site uses are listed in our Cookie Policy.

Commissions and our scores

An editor sets each casino's Trust Score by hand, from the facts in its review. No casino can pay to raise its Trust Score.

Our Editorial Policy explains how we research, write and correct reviews, and How We Rate Casinos explains the five areas we check.

What we are not

Casino Adventurer is an information site. We don't run a casino, hold a gambling licence, take bets, handle deposits or withdrawals, or hold player accounts.

When you follow a link to a casino, you deal with that casino directly, under its own terms. If something goes wrong with your account, a payment or a bonus, contact the casino first and then, if you need to, the authority that licenses it. We can't take up complaints with a casino on your behalf.

How accurate our information is

We keep bonus terms, payment methods and other casino details as accurate as we can, but casinos change them often and sometimes without notice. Each review shows the date it was last updated, and a casino can change its terms at any time after that.

Read the casino's own terms before you register or deposit. Whether you can claim a bonus, which payment methods you can use and whether you can play at all can depend on your country.

Gambling laws and your responsibility

Online gambling laws differ between countries, and sometimes between regions of the same country. A casino on our site is not a sign that it is legal, or that it accepts players, where you are. Before you sign up, make sure that:

  • you are of legal gambling age where you live
  • online gambling is legal where you are
  • you only gamble with money you can afford to lose

18+ only. Gamble responsibly. If gambling is affecting you or someone close to you, Gambling Therapy offers free, confidential support wherever you live. Help lines by country are on our Responsible Gambling page.
